Quailpower @ Home is a blog detailing my ongoing creative adventure and charity baking company.
I am currently retraining in the microbiology in what little spare time I have left that is not filled with my beautiful son D.
I am now an Association for Nutrition certified Nutritional Advisor!
I am probably the most neurotic person I know, with an obsessive love of storage and grid patterns. Which you will see endlessly repeated in my blog, as I try to organise my life with charts and lists, only be to foiled by my chaotic household.
I have a photographic memory, often recounting useless information and occurrences in vivid detail and completely disregarding important information.
I have a very short attention span and poor impulse control, leading me to start endless projects and crafts without ever finishing them. And having seemingly endless experiences. Nothing is too scary. I believe the only thing stopping people trying new things is themselves. To quote my beloved Sir Terry Pratchett:
"A fishmonger does not bother to keep a lid on the crab bucket because 'any that tries to get out gets pulled back' "
I have a severe sugar addiction and a predisposition to gorging myself on high calorie, high sugar snacks. This usually ends with me going on endless health kicks when I realize I haven't eaten real food for a week.
